Use Oribi in Console

When Oribi is enabled for both your user account and the current business, an icon switcher appears beside the current business selector. Use the Dashboard grid icon for standard Console navigation, global search, and global create actions. Use the Oribi icon for briefings, new questions, and saved conversations.

Expected result

  • You can move between standard Console navigation and Oribi without leaving your current page.
  • You can start a question with New.
  • You can reopen any saved conversation directly from the main navigation.
  • You can open Briefings directly below New and use its shortcuts to revisit your five most recently generated briefing tasks.
  • You can review every conversation generated by one briefing by moving horizontally through its briefing page.

Start a new Oribi conversation

  1. Select the Oribi icon beside the current business selector.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a question about your data, or select one of the suggested common questions.
  4. Send the question and wait for Oribi's response.
  5. Continue the conversation by entering another question in the message field.

After the conversation is saved, it appears in the Oribi navigation under Today, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days, or More than 30 days.

Saved conversations use a small circular marker so they remain visually distinct from the New and Briefings actions. Long names fade at the navigation edge rather than ending in an ellipsis. Scroll within the navigation to reach older conversations; the account and timezone controls remain fixed at the bottom.

Reopen a conversation

  1. Select the Oribi icon beside the current business selector.
  2. Find the conversation in its date group.
  3. Click the conversation name to reopen its messages.

The conversation name comes from its first question. Conversations within each date group are ordered by their latest activity.

Open briefings in Console

  1. Select the Oribi icon beside the current business selector.
  2. Look under Briefings, below New, for shortcuts to your five most recently generated briefing tasks.
  3. Click a briefing shortcut to open its most recently generated conversation in full.
  4. Use the left and right arrow buttons, or scroll horizontally, to move between newer and older conversations generated by the same briefing.
  5. Open Actions to edit or delete the briefing and to view its schedule, last run, creation date, and task ID.
  6. Click Briefings itself to schedule a briefing or browse the complete briefing task list.

Recurring briefings appear once in these shortcuts, even when the task has generated multiple conversations. Task-generated conversations are kept out of the date-grouped saved conversation list so regular questions remain easy to find.

The briefing page has no overview or execution-log tabs. Each generated conversation uses the same full transcript presentation as a regular Oribi conversation, including tables and charts when available.

Select the Dashboard grid icon whenever you want to return to standard Console navigation, global search, and global create actions.

If something looks different

If a briefing has not run yet, its page shows that no conversation has been generated. If the Dashboard and Oribi switcher is missing, confirm that Oribi is enabled for both your user account and the current business.

If Oribi is not shown

The Dashboard and Oribi navigation tabs only appear when Oribi is enabled for both your user account and the current business. Ask your Spaaza administrator for user access, or contact Spaaza if Oribi needs to be activated for the business.
