Insights

Insights are attributes Spaaza derives from your loyalty data and writes back onto the records you already use. They are produced automatically by Spaaza's algorithms as data flows through the platform. Insights are not available by default: each one is switched on for your business by Spaaza, so contact Spaaza to enable the ones you need.

What Insights covers

Each Insight surfaces a different angle on customer or transaction activity. Use them to enrich segments, drive reporting, and guide review workflows.

Insights currently covered:

  • Basket missions — characterise the shopping intent behind each transaction so that baskets can be grouped by shopper purpose, not just by spend or product mix.
  • Customer enrichment — per-customer summaries of recent shopping behaviour, useful for segmentation, lifecycle analysis, and personalised marketing.
  • Customer value insights — value and engagement scores (including Recency, Frequency and Monetary) that summarise how valuable and active each customer is.
  • Transaction outlier score — a per-transaction signal that highlights transactions which stand out, to support review and reporting workflows. A separate customer-level user outlier score is on the roadmap.

What Insights is not

Insights describes data Spaaza has already produced. It does not, on its own, configure new behaviour or trigger campaigns. To act on an Insight, use it as a filter in Customer segments, as a value in Spaaza Console, or through Spaaza's API.
