How Spaaza programs are used in store
Spaaza’s goal is to make interacting with a program as easy and flexible as possible for customers, store staff and our POS partners.
Customers’s and store staff typically interact with Spaaza loyalty or incentive programs in the following ways in store:
1. Using app on customer’s mobile phone
Spaaza provides an optional whitelabel app on iOS and Android which allows customers to create an account, view their rewards and activate vouchers. Store staff can scan the barcode in the app (or enter in the customer number) in the same way as a plastic card would work to link ?the customer’s identity to the sale.
Retailers can also use a third party mobile app solution with Spaaza built into.
2. Using the retailer’s webshop on customer’s mobile phone
Spaaza’s connection with the webshop means that customers can use the webshop to create an account, view their rewards and activate vouchers. Store staff can scan the barcode in the webshop (or enter in the customer number) in the same way as a plastic card would work to link the customer’s identity to the sale.
3. Using Spaaza’s Store App
Spaaza provides a web app for staff allowing them to create customers, search for customers, edit customers, view and activate rewards and view purchase history. It is responsive and works on any device including tablets, store POS PC web browsers and mobile phones.
POS systems can embedded this web app into their software (see section on integrating Spaaza Store).
4. Using a shared screen or self-service kiosk to create accounts
Retailers can use a web app provided by Spaaza to create a self-service kiosk in store where customers can signup to the program.
5. In the POS software
All of the functionality available within Spaaza’s apps can also be built into the POS’s software using Spaaza’s API’s.
